Tomorrow is my HALF MARATHON!

Tomorrow marks an exhilarating milestone as I prepare to tackle my half marathon, and I couldn’t be more thrilled! The anticipation is electric, and I’m eagerly counting down the hours until I hit the pavement (lol). To ensure I’m fueled and ready to go, I’ve planned my carb-loading meal strategically, opting for Chipotle to give me the energy I need to power through. Hydration is key, so I’ll be sipping on LMNT electrolytes all day to keep my body in peak condition.


Having recently finished “Ugly Love” by Colleen Hoover, I must say it was a captivating journey through raw emotion and complex relationships. Hoover’s writing effortlessly draws you in, weaving a story that’s both heart-wrenching and beautiful. While romance novels aren’t typically my go-to genre, I found myself thoroughly engrossed in this tale of love and loss. However, as someone whose preferred genres lean towards self-help, business, and biography, “Ugly Love” offered a refreshing change of pace. Nonetheless, it reminded me of the power of storytelling to captivate and connect us, regardless of our usual reading preferences. Overall, it was a beautifully written book that left a lasting impression.

It deeply resonates with me as I navigate my journey of building a life and career that I’m proud of. Like Rowling, I understand the significance of hitting rock bottom and using it as a springboard for transformation. Despite facing setbacks and challenges along the way, I’m fuelled by a relentless determination to carve out my path and make a name for myself. This quote serves as a powerful reminder that even in the face of adversity, there lies an opportunity for growth and renewal. With each setback, I’m reminded to view it not as a defeat, but as a chance to rebuild stronger and more resilient than before. It’s this unwavering resilience and determination that propels me forward on my mission to create a life that reflects my dreams and aspirations.
